Every article is approved by a person
Nothing publishes automatically. An article moves through idea, research, draft, review and approval, and only a human can move it to published. That is enforced by the system we publish with, not by good intentions.
Sources
Where an article makes a factual claim, the source is recorded and, where useful to you, listed at the bottom of the page. An article that explains why a family dynamic happens cannot be published here without at least one source.
Stories, and how we label them
Stories are labelled on the article itself, and the label is generated from our records rather than typed by a writer, so it cannot be left off:
- Shared by a reader — a real account, published with that person’s permission.
- Composite — built from real situations with details changed so nobody is identifiable.
We do not invent events and present them as things that happened.
What we do not do
We do not copy or rewrite other people’s articles or posts. We do not publish fabricated quotes or statistics. We do not diagnose anyone. We do not run sponsored articles, and no advertiser sees an article before it publishes.
